Now you’re settling in, it’s a great time to meet Circuit – your friendly  laundry provider! We manage the laundrette service in your halls, which means we look after the washing machines and tumble dryers you need to clean and dry your clothes and bedding.

But more importantly, we’re here to make laundry feel like a breeze. Washing your stuff isn’t exactly rock-and-roll, we know, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be simple. So, ahead of your first visit, here’s what you need to know.

Get started with a Circuit account

First things first, you’ll need to head here to check out how to pay for your laundry- coin, card or app!

The Circuit Laundry app, Circuit Laundry Plus app and Circuit laundry card all use PayPal or Freedom Pay, so everything is safe and secure. You can top up your account, sign into our handy app, and get access to some nifty features – including a

Our service is (mostly) cashless, which means you can rock up, put your clothes in to wash or dry, If you need any help then you can chat to one of our team through the live Chat function on our apps and website function.

What else do I need to bring?

Along with your topped-up Circuit Laundry card/app and everything you want to wash, you’ll want to bring your own . Carefully put your powder, pod or tablet into the bottom of the drum (we advise not to use fabric conditioner) and put your stuff in the machine (there’s markings inside each machine so you don’t overload it!), then follow the instructions to get going. (Pro-tip: Why not club together with your housemates to save money on your detergents?)

First time doing your own washing? There’s no need to stress. Whether it’s our simple how-to instructions, or the easy-to-follow steps on Circuit machines themselves, we genuinely make it hard to go wrong. And if there is ever a hiccup, we’re always here to help out.

Watch out for upcoming events and giveaways

It’s always great to meet the students we serve. Keep your eyes peeled for events and giveaways across the term, along with your chance to ask your local rep for tips and advice on all things laundry.

Have some questions we haven’t covered here? Why not dip into our Circuit FAQs? From care labels to account queries, our friendly experts have got you covered.
